10 weeks!

Well, I made it through the christmas holidays! I have my ups and downs. I was able to eat better when I had someone cooking for me (mom and Neva). But now, I am back to fending for myself and that is not fun. Hopefully only about two more weeks of this nausea and vomiting. Today, I had enough energy to get a manicure and pedicure. I am dreading going to the grocery store, but the fridge is empty and the dogs are hungry. Shelby stated he is "tired of me being sick" Really? Because, I am ENJOYING IT!?!?!? I would gladly let him feel this way for a day, just so he understands what I am going through. My dreams have been very vivid and bizarre! I go to the Doctor again on Jan 12th.

Made it through another weekend!

I was very productive this weekend. Got almost all of my christmas shopping done, got some wrapped. Cleaned the house, did some Grocery shopping. I have been feeling better... Just have to eat something EVERY 2 hours! I had to work on Sunday! I am now 8 weeks pregnant! Only 4 more weeks to go before I can tell EVERYONE and am mostly in the clear of anything going wrong!

Went to the Doctor

We got to see the baby by sonogram.  It looks like a jelly bean right now.  It has a heartbeat of 170 beats per minute, which we heard (how cool).  I have been feeling better the past few days!  Our Due Date is July 28th, 2009!

Count down to Doctor Visit

My first doctor's appointment is Thursday! Yesterday, I felt well enough to try and run some errands, that didn't go so well. Today, I felt good in the morning, but by lunch I was throwing up and I think that caused me to throw my lower back out - it hurts!

Barf-o-rama

Shelby and Hanna have gone to hunt this weekend. So I have been taking it easy. I wrapped a few christmas gifts (not quite as nicely as I have in years past). I also put up my small tree. I am hoping to do some grocery shopping later today and see a movie with Carrie! Last night Carrie brought over a care package with gingersnaps, crackers, peppermints and two pregnancy books. This morning I have been reading Belly Laughs by Jenny McCarthy. It is a hilarious book! So, this morning I got up about 9, tried to eat apples, crackers, milk, and water. I had been reading in the book for about an hour and a half in bed, when suddenly, up comes everything I had eaten all morning. Yuck! But after that, I felt fine!

Today is a new day!

Today I am still 6 weeks pregnant. I have felt great today. I ate a slice of pizza, some milk and a sprite... and I'm getting hungry for dinner! Sharla and Brad sent us a movie titled "She's having a baby". I hope to watch it tonight on the couch in front of a fire. My doctor prescribed something for nausea today, but hopefully I won't have to use it!

Let the Morning Sickness Begin!

Today was the first day I got sick. It is no fun. I have lost some weight because, nothing sounds good to eat. Shelby has been running to the store for my requests, ice cream, milk, donuts, grapes and jello. I will be glad when the sick phase is over!

LOTS of ChAnGeS!!!

November 20th, 2008 - Today was Shelby's 36th birthday and the day we found out we are pregnant! I gave him Carhartt overall's for his birthday and baby Carhartt overall's to tell him we were having a baby! He was shocked, but glad he wasn't sterile!

November 28th, 2008 - Our Family came to our home for our first Thanksgiving. We made Cornish Game Hen's. I will probably never make a Thanksgiving meal ever again. I couldn't eat a bite, I was feeling very nauseated. We told our family by placing name tags at each seat stating "grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle, cousin". They were all very happy!

December 2, 2008 - I have been feeling better in the mornings, but worse as the day goes on and TIRED! FOOD is NOT my Friend today. I have had trouble with any food being appetizing to me and have almost gotten sick several times today. We found out today that we will be moving to Snyder, TX in the next month or so!
